It is an easy walk to the town centre of Laroque des Alberes and is only a fifteen minute drive to the Mediterranean coastline, where you can join the corniche that runs through the Pyrenees from France into Spain.
So a half hour drive could see you exploring the Costa Brava in Spain or, go in the opposite direction, and you could be having lunch in the beautiful city of Perpignan.

You will literally be spoilt for places to go and things to do. This part of the world is well known for tourism and with good reason.
The absolute jewel in the crown of the region is the beautiful fishing village of Collioure. Only a twenty minute drive to visit this fabulous seaside resort, which is lively and vibrant all year around.
Next on the list is Castelnou, located near to Thuir, it is a limestone built medieval village with its own very grand chateau. You can explore the cobblestone streets and then take a seat in one of its lovely cafes for a relaxed coffee or even lunch.
How about Port Vendres, with it’s working port, frequent visits from sailing ships like the Hermione and where you can buy fresh fish brought in each morning by local fishermen.
Then there is of course the Port Argeles which uses the Pyrenees Mountains as its back drop. So when you take lunch there you will have mountain views to take in across the marina with its hundreds of boats.

The 7.6m by 3.8m pool is located right outside the French windows and is for the exclusive use of the tenants.
